Theta's most popular software is RODSTAR-V, which is part of the Design and Simulation family. RODSTAR-V is the most sophisticated and accurate design computer program for non-deviated rod pumping system. With RODSTAR-V, you can enter a "target" production (or IPR data) and have RODSTAR-V automatically calculate the pumping speed, plunger size, and the optimum rod string design you need. For users that are interested in software for their deviated rod pumping wells, Theta offers RODSTAR-D, which provides all the functionalities of RODSTAR-V, but with the ability to enter deviation data through a spreadsheet, CSV file, or by entering the deviation yourself. RODSTAR-D calculates side loading, buckling tendency, dogleg severity, etc. and provides you with an interactive 3-D wellbore plot to help you better visualize your wellbore deviation. Our newest software in our Design and Simulation family is XROD-V. XROD-V builds upon RODSTAR-V's design superiority by implementing advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to allow you to quickly come up with A+ designs automatically in seconds. This AI system "learns" from its own runs to become faster over time. XROD-V can design complete rod pumping systems including how many sinker bars you need, for up to eight pumping unit types simultaneously from your input of target production and pump depth. XROD-V also scores your system designs (A+,A, B, C, etc) and provides recommendations if you enter your own designs. As an added bonus when you purchase an XROD-V license you also get RODSTAR-D and RODSTAR-V at no additional cost. XROD-V can pay for itself the first few times you use it. XROD-V has two modes: AI mode for new system designs and non-AI mode for existing system optimization, scoring, and recommendations.

Understanding that our users may need diagnostic analysis software in addition to design and simulation software, Theta offers RODDIAG and XDIAG. RODDIAG can calculate the downhole pump dynamometer card from the surface card you entered. XDIAG is a revolutionary software tool that combines state of the art expert system and pattern recognition technology with accurate wave equation diagnostic analysis for the ultimate accuracy. XDIAG creates an expert report in English telling you what are your pump condition and any problems it finds with your system along with a score for your system design using XROD's AI scoring technology. XDIAG is also used in our XSPOC smart automation software for automatic analysis of all your wells every day.

XSPOC is a comprehensive automation and well management system that fully integrates all of Theta's software. It uses modern communication technologies to link real-time data from Rod Pump Controllers to Theta's powerful diagnostic and design tools. XSPOC is not just for pump-off controllers anymore. It now supports other wellhead devices including ESP, PCP, Plunger Lift, Gas Lift and flow controllers.
