When experience counts Norris / O’Bannon Well Servicing
tools have been the tools of choice for Well Servicing companies
for
decades. All (100%) rod hooks
and elevators are pull tested to 1 ½ times their rating
(25 Tons) to meet API 8C specification. O’Bannon sucker
rod sockets are carefully engineered and accurately machined from
high quality steels. Slips, bowls, and
slip units are expertly heat-treated
to develop the required characteristics of hardness and toughness
that today ’s
industry requires.
Slip sockets Type B, Baby Red, Big
Boy, and Horn Employ
slips with hardened
wickers or teeth, which
bite or dig into the
softer rod or T-coupling
being fished. more
Hardened couplings, which resist capture
by ordinary wickered
slips, can be successfully
retrieved with O'Bannon
Overshot Sockets. more
The Casing Adapters are provided
for 2 1/2" and 3" sockets
to permit their use
in larger diameter
tubing and casing.

The Horn Socket is designed for fishing
in small tubing sizes
(1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 1 3/4") where it is not
feasible to use Type
B or Overshot Sockets. more
The O'Bannon Hinged Bell Nipple screws
directly into the pumping
tee or tubing coupling.
It provides a seat
for the rod elevator,
protects the internal
thread on the tee or
tubing coupling, and
guides rods into tubing.

The Polished Rod Top is a convenient
accessory for pulling
rods. Threaded to receive
an API sucker rod pin
on either end, it is
small enough in the
middle to permit engagement
in a rod elevator.

All O'Bannon hoisting tools are designed
for ease of operation
under all conditions
or temperature extremes. Electric steel alloy casting are
heat treated for optimum
strength and hardness,
every shank, body and
bail is magnaflux tested. more
O'Bannon Sucker Rod Elevators come
in several types suited to meet differing needs: Solid Body,
Plate Type, Fiberglass,
Polished Rod, and Small
Tubing Elevators. more
O’bannon paraffin knives are
manufactured for extra strength and reliability. The free-moving
disk allows
for quicker penetration
of the knife through the tubing and quick seating to remove
paraffin as the knife is withdrawn. more
