Our position as an industry leader is one
we take very seriously. Norris is dedicated to producing
the finest special bar quality sucker rods you can buy.
But the Norris commitment to excellence extends beyond
quality control – to the most complete customer
service and technical service programs in the industry.
Our salesmen are experienced sucker rod specialists,
and we’ve brought our products to the point of
need with over 50 field stocking points.
The Legacy Continues...
Our commitment to excellence also extends into the
future: Norris is dedicated to the research and development
of new longer-lasting alloys and rod compositions. But
our current philosophy has its roots in the past. W.C.
Norris, who founded the firm in Tiona, Pennsylvania
in 1882, laid the groundwork for our present success
over 100 years ago. Mr. Norris knew then that success
required hard work, a pledge of quality and service
to his customers, and an untiring dedication to innovation.
Over the last century, these precepts have never changed,
and innovation has characterized the Norris legacy.
Our
dedication to innovation is single-minded and persistent.
Norris experts are aware of every technological advance
in the oil industry, and continue to adapt these new
technologies to improve Norris sucker rods and couplings.
By specifying Norris, you'll be assured of selecting
the finest sucker rods available today, and you'll be
certain of continued product improvement each year in
the future.
Norris is unequaled in providing customer service,
both before and after the sale. We offer a free, computerized
rod string design service that determines the combination
of rod size, type, and pumping capacity that best suits
your application. We provide free training courses for
your employees regarding: proper care and handling of
sucker rods; failure analysis identification with corrective
action; and, proper rod string design. And in the case
of string failure, Norris performs failure analysis
on rods and couplings to help you avoid similar problems
in the future.
Norris
currently offers six types of sucker rods formulated
from different alloys. These compositions cover just
about any downhole condition you might encounter. In
a corrosive well, sucker rods come under attack the
moment they're run. Until your chemical inhibition program
becomes effective, Norris sucker rods are protected
during rod shipment and storage.
Norris also offers two types of sucker rod couplings.
Either provides excellent mechanical and fatigue properties,
but for additional wear and corrosion resistance, the
Norris Sprayloy® coupling goes one step further.
It has a coating of nickel-chromium, which is flame-sprayed
and fused to the coupling surface. No coupling lasts
forever, but Norris couplings are made to last longer
— for thousands of additional pumping cycles.
Consider all the Norris product features, innovations,
and services and we think you'll reach an obvious conclusion:
sucker rods may be interchangeable, but they are by
no means equal. So the next time you specify a rod string,
choose the industry's best.
Choose Norris.
